Not impressed, Nov 14, 2009
|
reviewer: Myles Dawson from Derby, UK
|
| I never really review products, but seeing as this is a pricey product, I recommend against buying it, I have a very good athletic Defensive back build. I didn\'t find this prdouct to be of any help, I took religiously as indicated on the label, the only effect it had on me was it made me a lot more on a loose end, my gf kept saying to stop because I was being nasty to her which I denied, but after finishing the supply, a few days after she noticed I was back to my old self. Don\'t buy this product, just stick to creatine and protein |

works for me, Sep 17, 2009
|
reviewer: Jared from Townsville, QLD, AUST

| well iv been on nitrix for about 6 weeks now. Iv stacked it with BSN No-Explode and BSN Cellmass and it has shown great results. I found myself lifting heavier weights in the gym after using it for only 1 week and my muscles have that fully pumped effect throughtout the whole day. Iv had no side effects at all and i would highly recommened this to people looking to put on muscle and lift heavier weights. |

| I am about to start taking nitrix. everyone said that their muscles felt fuller after taking nitrix. Does that last after you are done taking it? Do your muscles only stay firmer when you are on the supplement or when the cycle is completed as well? |

Watch what you stack this with!, Jun 23, 2009

reviewer: Doc from USA
|
| First of all, I don\'t know why they recommend stacking this with No-Xplode. No-Xplode already has NO2. It\'s an overdose. And do you really want to stack loads of NO2 with caffeine??!!!! Both will increase your heart rate. If you want to stack this with something, all you need is a good creatine supplement like Cell-Tech and a good protein, that\'s it! Muscles are not with risking your health over. |

Not Worth It!, Jun 07, 2009
|
reviewer: Anonymous from Boise, Idaho
|
| Of course I had to pay the high asking price to see if it really does work. I found that you absolutely have to follow the directions or you will get bad headaches. And as for the body growth, it did nothing to increase my size. Not worth any money, much better products out there! |

| wow...taking 9 pills a day, getting constant headaches, fatigue...these are the reviews i have been reading about this product. in my opinion, it is way overpriced. its not an effective supplement. the only bsn product worth takin is syntha 6. which is an amazing protein postworkout protein. helps recover for hours. for me, the universal storm is the best n.o. creating pre-workout supplement out there. mix it with 40 grams of waximaize and you will have the best pump you have every experienced!! my guarantee! try it! |

| Well, i have been on the nitrix stack cell mass and n.o. xplode this is my 2nd week in. i noticed that it did give me a better pump and focus. so far i havent seen results. the bottle says it takes up to 7-21 days... so i cant tell you that for sure.. the downsides i have experienced is somedays i will have a loss of appetite for lunch i can barely eat.. so that a big negative if your trying to gain mass. i got a few headaches the first week. that went away drink plenty of water keep hydrated. and it gave me diahrea. I still have my hopes up. diet right eat lots of good carbs and your protein and vitamins. and this should product should work. ill keep you guys updated. |

Side Effects made me weak and tired., Mar 22, 2009
|
reviewer: Andrew from UK ( England )
|
| I am so sorry that this product (nitrix) did not work for me after reading the hype surrounding it, and i had that good ole mixture of excitement and anticipation on buying it. The side effect kicked in after a day or two...extreme fatigue and weakness and i felt i had an asthma like feeling of shortness of breath and a feeling of incredible fatigue for a couple of days, symptons i had never previously experienced in my years of training or with any other supplement. I am aware of correct nutrition and rest and followed the instructions also. I did not overtrain either, just good sensible and effective training. I decided to wait for several weeks and do an experiment, which basically ment taking the product once again with my strength and energy back. As instructed on the bottle, i took nitrix for just one day when the same thing happened, i had to stay in for a day or two as i was so weak and tired and had a very weak breath type of feeling. I hope some people get good and positive results from nitrix, but unfortunately for me it was a disappointing experience. I suppose different people react diffently to ingredients, food, and supplements, and for me i guess i will have to just stick to a good diet, with supplements like protein, glutamine, etc, which are in themselves very serious and effective products, also..the taking of numerous nitrix tablets throughout the day was a bit off putting too. Oh well i guess i will have to look for another product that will work for me, and build me up like the incredible hulk in weeks, i am sure there must be a product out there that will do this. I am 45 yrs young, fit and toned, and a non smoker or drinker and have never experienced any type of tiredness or breathing trouble in my life, so for me there is a deffinate reaction to an ingridient in nitrix. Guess that's life... cyal8r folks... |

All of BSN, Mar 19, 2009
|
reviewer: Johnny D from Chicago
|
| Tried several supplements through the years including proteins, creatines. etc. Nothing really gave me the results and or motivation I've been looking for. I cycled N.O. Xplode with heavy weight training and 20 to 30 minutes of cardio almost every day. Becuase N.O. Xplode seemed to do good things for me, I recently tried a N.O. Xplode, CellMass and Syntha6 stack with even better results. I'm about to add nitrix which I've heard good things about from friends. So far BSN is GREAT! |

Taken many times and can respond to other ratings, Mar 19, 2009
|
reviewer: Crofter2 from Croft, WV

| I have taken nitrix many times and i usually stack it with n.o. explode. I love the stack and prefer BSN products over any other. To people looking to get stronger and bigger i suggest taking n.o. explode with cell mass. If you are wanting to have that "beach body" take nitrix and a good protein shake. The nitrix opens up all blood vessless. This product did give me headaces after use of about two weeks. Good product and everyone should try it. people are different so they will have different results |

great stuff (unlesss u have asthma), Mar 05, 2009
|
reviewer: Applebee5000 from vancouver, canada
|
| I used this product for a while and it worked great, but after about a week i noticed i would get shortness of breath even from getting up and pouring myself a glass of milk. I have asthma, and as it turns out this product can act as an inflammometer (ie. it makes your asthma ten times worse). i kept usaing nitrix for another week, but i eventually had to stop because my breathing got so bad. for over a month after i had stopped taking nitrix, the shortness of breath persisted. my cardio has never been the same since i took nitrix. to a certain extnet, it permenanently damaged my bronchii (it is an indirect result of an allergic reaction to the creatine ingredient in nitirx) This product is great and it works extremely well, but dont take it if you have asthma. you will regret it for a long time if u do. |

| I'm 33 and an avid gym goer for 5 years. Bench 405 at 220 body wt. I took it for 2 days and had chest pains so bad I went to er. I followed directions and drank plenty of water. It just gave a sever reaction. I eat well and have taken other supplements in the past. I follow directions and take care of myself. This was not a good experience. |

People don't know how to read directions., Feb 23, 2009
|
reviewer: Ross from Texas
|
| I'm 20 years old and I weigh 190lbs. I have VERY little body fat and I put up about 220 on the bench. I've done one cycle of nitrix about a year ago and i'm about to get on my second. It worked really well for me. I stacked it with Syntha-6 and Cell Mass. I see a lot of you people complaining that Nitrix did not work for you. Nitrix is a good product. I guarantee you if this product does not work for you it's because of the following: like listed above in one of the reviews, Nitrix's only sole purpose is to dialate your veins to enable a much faster and much larger intake of nutrients to your muscles. Therefore, you need to have a pretty decent intake of protein/carbs/essential vitamins and amino acids (which are in most protein shakes). Also, don't be a pussy, hit the gym hard. No pain, no gain. Another thing, especially you young, ignornant kids taking all these supplements, YOU NEED TO READ DIRECTIONS. Nitrix explains that you need to take this on an EMPTY stomach and wait a good 30-45 minutes after taking it before you eat. If you don't follow these directions, YES, this product is going to be useless and you aren't going to get the results that you were hoping for. |

Good stuff!, Feb 17, 2009

reviewer: P-dub from Burke, VA

I'm 35 years old and have been eating right and working out regularly for 2 years. I consider myself to have been an extreme case after losing 110 lbs and now and I just maintain and workout 'cause I like it but thought I'd try a BSN stack to see what it does.
I went to the web site and read about stacking and bought Nitrix, Cell Mass, Axis-H (not cheap, let me tell you) and after only 2 weeks I've noticed my skin tightening, veins bustin' out all over the place, my biceps & chest are about to tear my shirts.
I probably need to drink more water because I've suddenly been having headaches often when I never had 'em before.
I also drink a 2 protein shakes throughout the day, in between meals and after a workout. I use Syntha-6 and Monster Milk but it's working.
So I'm inclined to say I see a noticeable difference but I am in the gym regularly and I maintain a pretty strict diet. |

Clinical evidence says this is a waste of money, Feb 05, 2009
|
reviewer: Adam from NY, USA

This is an expensive supplement that I bought without doing my research. It didn't do anything for me. I did some research and found that published reviews of large bodies of research say that exercise and arginine produce LOWER amounts of growth hormone than exercise alone. Also, Mayo clinic online says no evidence arginine supplementation has any effect on performance or muscle growth....Wikipedia says same. Also consider that supplement companies have incentive to fund research supporting arginine as a supplement so they can put advertise with it.

mixed thoughts.., Jan 22, 2009
|
reviewer: Joe Yekesva from Seattle
|
| alright heres the thing. im a wrestler. i am at a good weight class.. in the sense that i do not have to cut.. and that is why i am able to take supplements. i started taking nitrix about a week ago. some days i feel the pump.. some days not so much. i lift in the morning and wrestle in the afternoon. my veins are all over the place in the morning.. but i dont know if thats just naturally doing that or if its nitrix. this was a supplement recomended for wrestlers.. and its nice cause you dont have to chug a half gallon of water and no2 powder and shit your brains out. but its definately not as intense as products like noxplode, blackpowder, and superpump250 |

| Ok, this review isnt a lie or a joke. Ive been weight lifting for only 8 months and i have gained 22lbs of muscle while lowering my fat percent!! I stack this product with cellmass and NoXplode. I started using this 4 months after I started weight lifting. This product works exelent for getting pass a wall of no gain. I love BSN products....There worth the extra few bucks. |
